Friday the 13th Stuff

The last time we had 2 Friday the 13th’s two months in a row? 1998.

Here is a total geekazoid breakdown on Friday the 13th’s and the calendar.

Here is Alice Cooper’s video, “The Man Behind the Mask”, the theme from Friday the 13th Part VI. Total 80’s badness in the best possible way.

And here is every single murder in the Friday the 13th series, in order!

Here is a link to every single Friday the 13th film online for free! And since they are Divx files, they are in high-def goodness once you go full-screen. Sweet!

And seriously, if you’re only going to watch one, make it this one:

Part IV – The Final Chapter. It actually was supposed to be the final chapter, until Paramount was like, final chapter, our asses, this crap makes money!

For purposes of full-disclosure, let me say, that from the age of about 11 to 14 I was a Friday the 13th fanatic. I sort of lost track after part 5, in which Jason was struck by lightening a’la Frankenstein to reanimate his dead corpse. That was just crossing the line as far as my young-teen mind was concerned. But the first three I had pretty much memorized back in those days of yore. The fourth one is the only one that has stuck with me into adulthood. Because Jason really did die, because it has Crispin Glover, because it has Corey Feldman, because the Mom is totally hot… It was a teenage thing and now its a nostalgia thing – cut me some slack.

And completely unrelated, visit this awesome t-shirt site. Sorta pricey, but some great shirts!

Here are a few of my favorites:

  1. Yeah, but what does this have to do with the new U2 album?

  2. very nice 7 minute killing video by the way. bravo 🙂
